Mining is both the most common, and oldest form of making money. It basically means cheap eve isk getting a ship and fitting mining-shipmining lasers on them. Mining is done frequently by having a few miners in asteroid belts (which are found in nearly every system) fill up cans, and then have industrial class ships pick up the ore left in the “jettison cans”, this can also be done in secure cans, however they only anchor in less secure systems.
